Anita Piles

Anita Piles works at ATMS as an accounting clerk and assistant to tax preparer Jennifer Buss. Piles has been at the Springfield location for two years and has 20 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience.

Piles is currently studying at Ozarks Technical Community College, where she is taking accounting classes. She plans to return to Missouri State University to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and eventually test to become an Enrolled Agent.

“I enjoy working with out clients, especially when we help get a new business off the ground and see it flourish,” said Piles. Having been a client of ATMS myself and having been through an audit, it is important to have the right people at your side when you’re dealing with the IRS. I can say from experience that the staff at ATMS arc those people.”

Piles has been married to husband Mitch for 22 years and they have two amazing sons, Shayne and Ethan. She’s an avid reader and hopes to travel in the future to places like Ireland and Scotland to “castle hop.”
