At ATMS, our customers are family. And like our family, during these extraordinary times we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment at all three of our locations.
In this time of uncertainty, please know that we are still here for you. We will continue to monitor the rapidly evolving situation and we are closely following the Center of Disease Control’s guidelines and recommendations on the steps we need to take to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
As of today, March 18, we are fully operational and available to assist clients and their various needs. We have instructed all staff members to ask for and follow all client regulated COVID-19 safety precautions at all three office locations. That includes practicing social distancing, frequent hand sanitization, hand washing and wiping down commonly used surfaces, restrooms, door knobs and equipment. Employees are required to stay home if they or someone in their households feel sick. We have no meetings of groups larger than 10 and no large gatherings.
For the safety and health of our clients and staff, we have canceled all face-to-face appointments, yet we will remain open during our regular hours for drop-off and pick-up of your tax returns and bookkeeping work.
The IRS has extended the deadline for when your taxes are due to be paid to July 15. However, you must have your taxes filed with the IRS by April 15. This applies to federal taxes, not state taxes.
